    FINALLY!

A food court restaurant that I can be EXCITED about.   Ruby Thai Kitchen opened in Aventura Mall's food court this week and today my friend and I decided to dander over to have a look.   I was going for a burger thanks to Jordan posting one on his FB page at lunchtime.

Well, turns out they were giving our little bits of samples of mango chicken so we had some.  And it was yum.  Then I asked the guy what was the Panang chicken....

    "would you like a sample"
    WOULD I EVER!!

Hooked!!.  DANG!!!!!  It was yum yum good.  The kind of good where you don't speak to your lunch partner while eating.  You lose yourself in the SPLOSION of fragrance and flavor in your gob.  I had it with curry noodles and some bang bang shrimp and the noodles very nicely soaked up the curry sauce.

Lunch consisting of rice or noodles and two sides for $5.99.  Big portions too.

The reason only 4 stars...well..it IS a food court and I'm a snob.

Now!! It says Thai food but trust me it's NOT!!!! It's more like some Asian people trying to cook Thai food!!...so, don't expect Thai food...cause you will be disappointed!!! It should be called "Ruby Asian food"...However, their other food is not bad-actually, their lime chicken is pretty good! Anyway!-the service-cool and friendly! The decor-colorful but not Thai. The drinks-the Thai Iced is not bad! The food-the Thai food sucks but the chicken and sides are kinda tasty. The prices-too high for bad Thai food!

**Note: If you just started dating someone  with no sense of good Thai food and you want to introduce them to some other type of Asian food then yeah, give this joint a try!!!

So, check it out...I ordered the lime chicken with Lo Mien and rice, which was kinda tasty but their Pad Thai is pretty horrible! I also ordered their Thai iced Tea...not bad!!!...they should really change their name though!!!!

This place is REALLY GOOD! all the Thai food that I've tried before they always left me unsatisfied (and with a really long stay in the bathroom if you know what I mean...). But this place was amazing! The service to the costumer was really nice and they treated you friendly. They give you to try almost all their many before you even order. I will come back to this place. No doubt in that!

This is the "Thai" restaurant at the Aventura mall food court. The food here is pretty bad. I thought it'd be good because it's in a nice mall. The pad Thai noodles have a dried marinara sauce on them. It's pretty gross. The noodles were also dried out.

I love it! My husband and I go to the mall every week specially for them. The owner and the employees are really nice and polite!
